The core mission at BIPOC Arts Australia is always to see and hear our BIPOC creatives and to provide a safe space for them to connect, create and support each other.
We believe in telling our stories our way and creating our art without boundaries. We believe that true representation is far greater than aesthetics. Our decision makers and leaders must be as diverse as the art that is created and presented.
Part of our mission is to support BIPOC artists in creating powerful works of art that showcase the strong culture and identity of our community. We want to ensure that BIPOC createives are equipped with the tools and support to navigate the challenges of their environments. This includs offering support for mental health and well being. We are and inclusive platform that does not discriminate. Through our work we want to undo years of oppression by raising our artists up and giving them a platform to be heard.
